So as I’ve been telling y’all, my little guy has been making an effort to “talk” a lot lately. Well today I took some pictures of him with my Macbook on photo booth, and uploaded them to Facebook. After uploading, I was looking through the other pictures in the album, noticing how much he has changed in just a couple months. (Quick note: Little Edwin was sitting in my lap looking also.) Well I came upon a picture of Little Edwin and my husband, and immediately he starts saying da-da! Maybe it was just a coincidence but I still find it pretty amazing! I know every parent thinks that they have the smartest/cutest baby in the world. It should be that way! If not, you should question if you should be a parent in the first place..just sayin! But I think my guy is pretty smart for his age considering he is starting to recognize people by name. Even in pictures! Think of it how you will, but I think he said da-da on purpose. After all, I am his mother :)
Oh and Little Edwin is soooo close to saying ma-ma. It sounds more like na-na but he is trying! Any day now! Maybe he will say it on my birthday coming up! That would be the greatest present ever!
Bruce has always loved Little Edwin. He used to lay on my belly when I was pregnant and feel the baby kick.
So today my husband and I were giving our son a bath. Normally both our pets are in the bathroom too, watching. Well our cat Bruce likes to sit on the edge of the tub and watch Little Edwin splash around. Of course yall know my son is infatuated with our animals. So of course he is laughing and giggling away at Bruce. I say to Edwin, “That’s Bruce! Can you say Bruce? Bruuuuuuuuuce.” I continue to repeat Bruces’ name slowly, then out of nowhere Little Edwin says Bruce! Now im sure he didn’t really say it but it sure sounded pretty close! Even my husband and I looked at each other surprised like, “Did he really just say that?!” It excites me that our son is making an effort to copy what we are saying, even though he doesn’t know what they mean. It’s a start! Now I just gotta get him to say Ma-ma!

Swinging for the first time by himself.
A few weeks ago, my husband and I took our son to the park. Only reason I’m bringing this up is because I found pictures from it and somehow forgot to upload them. It was very chilly that day so we had him wrapped up from head to toe. He swung for the first time that day. First time with his daddy, then with me, and finally by himself. He loved it! He even went down the slide with me, though he wasn’t phased by this. All in all it was a great first trip to the park for Little Edwin. Can’t wait till it warms up and we can take him again!

So yesterday Little Edwin and I spent the day with my mom and her boyfriend. We went to go see my Grandma and surprised her with Little E. Well she lives out in the country and has goats and donkeys. We took Edwin down to see them and he loved them. He even rode on the back of a goat. I know, I know, sounds crazy but my mom was right there holding him the whole time. My mom’s boyfriend Brian took some great pictures and I wanted to share some of my favorites. Later I’ll post some of Little E and my grandma. Enjoy!
After eating his carrots he decided to try and copy what I was saying.
